For a few months now I have been reeding (yes, that’s spelled correctly 
) Space Avalanche, which is a cartoon blog, with very infrequent, but great posts. Today I noticed something different. At the very bottom there was as image saying “If you enjoyed the strip, throw a few coins in the hat” with a link that takes you to Paypal. Very creative! Maybe other blogs or sites do it, but it’s the first time I see something that normally would generate buzz, but not money, for the author being used in such a manner. Purely by chance, today xkcd presented an innovative offline business model as well.
